Canon PowerShot A570 IS Digital Camera

The market showdowns currently underway between digital point & shoot, compact and pocket cameras (whatever these things are properly called) has forced manufacturers to pack a lot of features into a very small space, for not much money. Best of all, the photos look great.

Nikon Coolpix L12 Point & Shoot Digital Camera

Inexpensive doesn't have to mean poor quality or featureless. An inexpensive camera can be quite satisfying if it has been smartly designed and well presented. Nikon continues to offer a wide range of competent P&S cameras to suit a wide range of needs.

Windows Vista—The Missing Manual

Author David Pogue is well known for his Missing Manual series. The devil is in the details for most authors however, and Pogue's writing continues to elevate these titles above their competitors. In any case, Windows Vista needs all the help it can get. You need a good book.

Resco Explorer 2007 for Palm OS, Pocket PC & Smartphone

Zero Day threats — the ones which hit your PC before any of the antivirus and antispyware makers have a chance to do an update — are a monster lurking in the closet. Diligence in the form of deleting unknown or unsolicited file attachments is the #1 defense against a lot of things, but a smart utility couldn't hurt.

Cyberlink DVD Suite Pro 5

I have a lot of digital video footage. There is no hope of ever reviewing it all. But I can try. What I need is a program comprehensive enough to make something of the huge pile with relatively little pain and aggravation, while preferably adding some creative help which makes my efforts look good.

The Microsoft Office Project 2007 Survival Guide

I have observed and lamented the valiant but ultimately fruitless struggles of many project managers doing battle with Microsoft Project. The software is difficult to use, the design paradigm obscure. Without a concise course book on the software, new users often have a terrible time with it.

While market leading AutoCAD is clearly the most widely used professional CAD product in the world, it's just as clear that everyone can't afford AutoCAD's stratospheric price. Blade Runner Ultimate Collectors Edition DVD's

Blade Runner Ultimate Edition Set
Some 25 years after it was first released Bladerunner will be released in time for Christmas in several variants. Ridley Scott, who directed this landmark and incredible movie has made a new version and edit which cast everything in a new light. There will a two-disc special edition, a four-disc collector’s edition, and my favourite; the five-disc Ultimate Collector’s Edition in the awesome “Deckard Briefcase” packaging. I'm going to ignore all versions except the Ultimate Collector's Edition.

This will include the ultra-rare, near-legendary Workprint version of the film, newly remastered. A commentary by Paul M. Sammon, author of Future Noir: The Making of Blade Runner will also be included, along with an All Our Variant Futures: From Workprint to Final Cut featurette. The Ultimate Collector’s Edition will be presented in a unique 5-disc digi-package with handle which is a stylish version of Rick Deckard's own briefcase, in addition each briefcase will be individually numbered and in limited supply. Included is a lenticular motion film clip from the original feature, miniature origami unicorn figurine, miniature replica spinner car, some collector's photographs as well as a signed personal letter from Sir Ridley Scott.

Shiny Shiny are also reporting that the N95 has been accepted by 3, now that the improvements they were looking for have been made. Time will tell, if these improvements are substantial enough to change a few minds.
