Asus Ships Quickstart Desktop

Asus are shipping their Quickstart Eee Box. This PC can go from off to ready-to-surf in seven seconds. This tiny PC is a fully functionally Windows XP computer,which includes the latest wireless 802.11n networking standard and what Asus calls “Express Gate” technology. The Quickstart capability allows users an almost instant on capability. The Eee PC includes Intel’s latest Atom N270 processor running at 1.6Ghz, 1GB of RAM, and comnes standard with an 80GB Hard Drive. Asus say that the unit also uses about 90 percent less electricity than a full-sized desktop. Available in both black and white editions, it should retail for around $350.
