Broadband Uptake in the US and UK
Residential broadband penetration is projected to pass the 50% sometime during 2007. The UK is supposed to have a figure of around 49% of households which have a broadband connection. These figures are interesting but I wonder just how accurate they are. Sources indicate that there will be more than 60 million US households with connections at the end of this year, with an official population of 300 million thats one residential connection for every 5 people.
