Spyware Law Up For Reconsideration

It looks like Leaders of the US House of Representatives have introduced a bill which is aimed at tackling the threat of malicious PC-disrupting spyware. Spyware has become as big a threat (if not bigger) as Virii and Trojans. This bill would impose 31 pages of regulations on the software industry in order to define the types of activities which are permissible and which aren't. It's time all governments told businesses involved in this area to lay off... Lets hope it's an effective Bill and that the Senate enforces it. Let's hope other Governments carry through similar measures.
