Bumper Sticker Paper Sources

A quick web search revealed several sources for bumper sticker paper for inkjet printers. Check these out.

For sources closer to home, try your local office supply store. You'd be surprised at what a local supplier can order for you. We're big fans of the Epson paper because you can design and print stickers at any size up to 8.5"x11" and then trim the self adhesive sheet on a cutting board or paper slicer. Any Your Bumper Sticker layout should print just fine on the Epson paper. I believe HP and Canon also make self adhesive paper.

Corel Designer 9 Problems

A quick search at the Corel support site seems to indicate that Designer 9 can open Autocad files from versions up to and including Autocad 2000. On the support page, we used the simple search terms "dxf import" and "dwg import" after selecting Designer 9 in the product list.

ColdFusion MX Calendar Module Resources

There are hundreds of third-party ColdFusion modules available. Calendars abound at BigWebMaster, William Welbes, and HotScripts.

The calendar module supplied with our review copy of ColdFusion was a bundled sample. The ColdFusion documentation is quite clear on development techniques for the creation of calendars and a whole lot of other things too. The ColdFusion development community is also busy and produces new modules every week—some free, some retail. The best source for all things related to CF may be Macromedia's chief ColdFusion evangelist - Ben Forta. Check his web site. Visit the site, send him an e-mail, ask for more calendar resources if the links above don't provide you with just the right script or module.

CuteFTP Upgrade from v2.8 (Beta)—Really?

Cute FTP is now at version 6 (and rising). All active download sites automatically update their downloadable files and delete older versions. At the time v3 was released there was an upgrade cost, but that was five years ago. You're not going to find v3 online anywhere and it's highly unlikely that GlobalScape could process an upgrade request to v3 even if the company was willing to do it in the first place. The closest version we could find online was v4.2 at WinArchives. Note that v4.2 is a trial version which you'll also have to upgrade in order to keep it running after the trial period ends. As far as we can tell the upgrade cost to v6 from any prior version back to v3 is $29.95.
