She's dead Jim! The old Parsons' Technologies product is gone, along with the now defunct Parson's Technologies. However, QuickVerse obtained the old Parsons' intellectual property a few years ago and has updated and released its own version of this excellent Church Management software. SystemSuite 5 Woes
Get the SystemSuite 5 program patch to get rid of the Windows Background Task Server error, at VCOM's tech support page. You can also download the patch directly by clicking this link.
SpinRite 6
Great software Spinrite 6 is (thank you Yoda). There have been some problems with IBM Deskstar hard drives. Check the IBM support site to see if your Deskstar is affected. If your motherboard's BIOS can seen the drives when you start your computer, chances are SpinRite 6 can fix them. Check the Gibson Research web site for more information about SpinRite.
