Canon Adapter for Bausch & Lomb Spotting Scopes
Efston Science is a great place to start looking. Try Cabela's Sporting Goods as well. Canon adapters for spotting scopes and telescopes are easy to find. But you might be able to shave valuable days off your search by calling Bausch & Lomb directly and asking them for a recommended adapter.

Half Life 2 Problems
The first line of defense is to make sure you've got the latest Half Life 2 patches. Get them from PlanetHalfLife.
Still got problems? What's likely happened is that some other installation which included a specific version of a shared DLL has stepped on the older Half Life 2 installation and either corrupted something or added some sort of change to the DLL that Half Life doesn't like. Another possibility is a corrupt Registry entry. If the latest HL2 patches don't solve the problem, reinstall the game and all patches. To reinstall properly, first uninstall HL2 and delete all left over files and folders. Last but not least, if you're running Windows XP and recently upgraded to XP Service Pack 2, an incompatibility may have been introduced that should be resolved by reinstalling HL2.
Ghost Backup . . . or not?
If you used Ghost to make an image of your C drive, the solution is simple. Boot your computer with the Ghost emergency CD or DVD or floppy disk in the computer.
- Make sure your computer BIOS is set to boot from the DVD drive or floppy drive.
- Place the Ghost emergency CD or floppy in the appropriate drive and start your computer.
- Ghost will launch automatically.
- Choose the command to restore a drive.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to restore your drive image—Ghost will call for each DVD in succession until the restoration process is complete.
You'll find complete instructions on the Ghost installation CD and in Ghost itself once you've booted with it. For more detail about creating a Ghost emergency boot CD or floppy, download and read the complete Ghost user manual.
BIG NOTE: If you backed up your C drive with something other than Ghost, you have to restore your C Drive with the program used to create the backup in the first place. Ghost can't handle backups created by another program.
