Copyright Laws—Who's Really a Violator?
Forget your opinions and closely held beliefs (which . . . admit it, sometimes are held primarily to excuse your own misdeeds), copyright law is quite well defined, despite the movement toward the Internet. The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) is not crazy about the DMCA (and neither are we), and they're set up a DMCA page on the EFF web site which deals specifically with the act.
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is one of 16 specialized agencies of the United Nations. The WIPO web site has a terrific set of well organized resources on copyrights.
