. . . cont'd May 1 , 2006 Show Notes
Surprise
The show notes are about as brief as they can be this week. Sorry about that. The thing is, we really didn't talk about any particular web sites and products that require specific notes and links. On the other hand, we're sure to get a lot of e-mail about Managing Editor Howard Carson's Big City Byte about the dangers of eBay. So just in case you were thinking about listing some items for sale or auction on eBay, here's some information you really need to read before diving in the eBay experience.

eBay Policies—Read This Stuff Carefully and Thoroughly
This is the main eBay Help page. From here, you can methodically crawl through all of eBay's recommended buying and selling techniques, support information and learn about all the different selling tools eBay offers. The eBay Help site is comprehensive and very informative.
What Are Other eBay Users Doing?
There are millions of eBay users. It stands to reason therefore that eBay should have provided a forum in which all of those users have an opportunity to provide feedback, get and offer advice, and share their experiences. These forums are fully moderated so you're fairly safe and most idiots are removed quite quickly. Look for the eBay Community forums here.
